The Wiim Pro Plus is ready to modernize any stereo system, offering Wi-Fi streaming of music and multi-room capabilities via AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast in high quality from a smartphone or tablet. This smart streaming player can easily be connected with an analog or digital audio cable to a traditional stereo system, a pair of active speakers, or a surround receiver that needs to be updated with new streaming services. Moreover, the Wiim PRO Plus is also Roon Ready certified, allowing for High-res streaming from the popular multi-room platform and comes with a remote control and a better DAC (AKM4493SEQ) than the regular Wiim PRO model.

Wiim Pro Plus also supports streaming via Bluetooth and supports a host of streaming services, such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and internet radio. Voice control with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Siri is also available.

Multi-room function via app.
The streamer also has its own multi-room feature via the Wiim app. Here you can group speakers and set left/right as needed and desired. For larger multi-room installations, e.g., with built-in speakers and a central multi-channel amplifier, it is natural to connect the Wiim streamer, meaning one unit per zone, as you could previously do with a Chromecast audio, thereby achieving a serious and cost-effective solution with individual sound throughout the house.
